Title: Powerlifting and MMA

 I ama  powerlifter and looking to return to the sport of MMA. I have been gearing up for close to a year to return but at the same time still love to compete in powerlifting.  I have a 3 lift meet at the end of March then the next weekend my return to MMA.

 I was just wondering how many others out there do both either powerlifting or bodybuilding and MMA.  I have been lifting for 18 years so its nothing new, my main deal is keeping my cardio up while training so heavy , its been a challenge so far .

 I use lot of supplements to help with recovery and I use a squat suit but bench and deadlift raw. So with the gear for the squats I can save my lower back somewhat , however i have been sore for well over  a week from a meeet and other times not sore at all .

 Anyone else here done both ??? if so how did that work out for you .?

ok o doing both wasnt working out that well fro me so I am focused just on the one now and that is powerlifting .
